Explaining Download and Transfer Allowances
The Internet is the fastest, most up-to-date method of information transfer.

Coast Internet Access pays for the information you gather [download] from the Internet, whether you are looking at pages on the World Wide Web, storing free software on your computer, receiving emails, chatting on IRC and so on.

Your monthly download tally is made up of all the pieces of information that you take from the Internet.

Depending on which access plan you have selected, your account may include a download (what is sent to your computer only) or transfer (what is sent from your computer, as well as what we send to your computer) allowance.

Your monthly allowance is reset on the anniversary date of your service. To find your anniversary date check your latest invoice.  The invoice due date is your anniversary day.

Naturally, you will sometimes want to check your current monthly download. Just log on to: http://www.netaccess.com.au/ and select Your Account. If you go over the monthly allowance, you will not lose your Internet access. Depending on your service one of 2 things will happen.  Either we will shape your service (slow it down) for the remainder of your billing period, or we charge you for extra downloads on your next invoice. Remember on your anniversary day the counters are reset.

Each month, we email you an invoice stating how much you used for the previous month and either, how much we will deduct from your credit card account, or how much you should send us.
